Yoga For Wellness and Resilience

Join us for an engaging yoga session with Exhale to Inhale's, Sophia Holly as she guides us through a healing chair yoga class.
In these times of uncertainty and turbulence, we all face an extraordinary amount of anxiety and stress. The purpose of this workshop is to create a space where we can use yoga to help ground us, connect us to our bodies and practice self-care.
Womankind has partnered with Exhale to Inhale for many years and would like to share this trauma-informed wellness opportunity with our community members. The 1-hr long yoga workshop will include a brief overview of Womankind's work by Lira Kim (Pathways to Healing Specialist) and Exhale to Inhale's work by Sophia Holly (Program Manager), who will also lead us in a 30-minute chair yoga session.
Chair yoga is a gentle and accessible form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground. No previous yoga experience required. During the session, we will all breathe, move and stretch. During the session, we will all breathe, move and stretch. This trauma-informed inclusive yoga session means that individuals will be offered options throughout class to ensure the practice suits their needs.
